How to Request Online For Income Certificate (Aavak no Dakhalo) on Digital Gujarat

Income certificate is a  necessary document for getting various government subsidies and schemes. The amount of income mentioned in an income certificate is calculated based on the actual income of every family. The Gujarat State Government has introduced an online application form to simply get income certificate. In this article, we look at the process for obtaining Gujarat income certificate.


Income Certificate:

Income certificate is mainly utilized for the following purpose:

Supports to get special privileges from educational institutions.

Backward classes create special reservations in college and universities.
This certificate plays a  vital role to get credit from government banks and various government schemes.
Old age pension, widow pension and agricultural worker pension will be released on the income basis.


A person requesting for income tax certificate should be a resident of the State of Gujarat.

Needed Documents:

The documents needed to obtain Gujarat Income Certificate are provided below:

Address Proof (Anyone is mandatory):
  1. Ration Card
  2. Electricity bill
  3. Water bill (not older than three months)

    2. Bank Passbook
    3. Post Office Account Statement / Passbook
    4. Driving License
    5. Government Photo ID cards / Service photo identity card released by Public Sector Undertakings (PSU)

    Income Certificate
    Identity Proof (Anyonee is mandatory):
    1. Election Card
    2. PAN Card
    3. Passport
    4. Identity card released by an approved educational institution.

    Income Proof (Anyone is mandatory):
    1. Employer Certificate (if employed with Govt, Semi Govt or any Govt-undertaking)
    2. If salaried (Form 16-A and ITR for last 3 years)
    3. If in business (Income Tax Return of Business for last 3 years and Balance Sheet of Business)
    4. Declaration before Talati (Service Related)
